this house is haunted/green eyes, yellow eyes/all eyes inside/the wind hooks and pulls at your skin/hardly noticing the state you're in/you want to be connected/but you sit close to the exit/we get together/we must ride/when we're stuck our heads collide/swallowing the good moments/until my throat hurts/moving towards a real disaster/hitch up the car for this disaster/see the man in the tall black hat/he looks at me/i step back/ can't even play him a real song/unless it's dumb enough for everyone/axes, screwdrivers forced in your hands/put them down because you're not violent/screaming at you 'till my chest hurts/'till we best our worst/you want to be connected/but you sit close to the exit
